How to Measure Your Wrist for a Crystal Bracelet

How to Measure Your Wrist at Home

You don't need any special tools to measure your wrist. You can use either a flexible measuring tape or a simple piece of string.

Method 1: The String Method (Easiest)

1. Take a piece of string, ribbon, or a strip of paper.
2. Wrap it around your wrist just below the wrist bone (where you would normally wear a watch or bracelet).
3. Make sure it is snug but not tight.
4. Mark the spot where the string meets.
5. Lay the string flat against a ruler or tape measure to get your exact wrist measurement in inches.

Method 2: The Soft Tape Measure

1. Wrap a flexible measuring tape around your wrist just below the wrist bone.
2. Read the measurement in inches where the tape overlaps.

How to Choose Your Bracelet Size

Once you have your exact wrist measurement, you need to decide how you want your bracelet to fit. We recommend adding a little extra room for comfort, as crystal beads (especially 8mm and 10mm beads) take up space on the inside of the bracelet.

• For a snug fit: Add 0.25" to your wrist measurement.
• For a comfortable, standard fit: Add 0.5" to your wrist measurement.
• For a loose fit: Add 0.75" to 1.0" to your wrist measurement.

Most of our crystal bracelets are strung on high-quality, durable elastic stretch cord. Here is how our sizes generally break down:

• Small (6.5") — Best for petite wrists or older children.
• Medium (7.0") — Our most popular size. Fits the average adult woman's wrist perfectly.
• Large (7.5") — Best for larger wrists or for a looser, draped fit.
• Extra Large (8.0") — Best for men or those who prefer a very loose fit.

Buying a Gift? Here's What to Do

If you are buying a crystal bracelet as a gift and cannot measure the recipient's wrist, don't worry! We highly recommend choosing the Medium (7.0") size.

Because our bracelets are made with stretch cord, the Medium size accommodates the vast majority of adult wrists comfortably. If you know the recipient has a particularly petite frame, opt for the Small (6.5"). If they have a larger frame or prefer loose jewelry, the Large (7.5") is a safe bet.

What if I'm Between Sizes?

If your measurement falls exactly between two of our standard sizes (for example, if you measure 6.75"), we recommend sizing up to the Medium (7.0") rather than sizing down. A bracelet that is slightly loose is much more comfortable and less prone to snapping than one that is too tight.
