How to Measure Your Wrist for a Crystal Bracelet

Finding the perfect fit for your crystal bracelet is essential — not just for comfort, but for energy flow. A bracelet that is too tight restricts circulation and can feel uncomfortable throughout the day. One that is too loose may slip off or not maintain the close skin contact that allows the crystal's energy to work most effectively.

Whether you are shopping for yourself or choosing a meaningful gift for someone you love, this guide will walk you through everything you need to know.

How to Measure Your Wrist at Home

You don't need any special tools. You can use either a flexible measuring tape or a simple piece of string.

Method 1: The String Method (Easiest)

  1. Take a piece of string, ribbon, or a thin strip of paper.
  2. Wrap it around your wrist just below the wrist bone — where you would normally wear a watch or bracelet.
  3. Make sure it sits snug but not tight. You should be able to slip one finger underneath.
  4. Mark the spot where the string meets itself.
  5. Lay the string flat against a ruler to get your exact wrist measurement in inches.

Method 2: Flexible Tape Measure

  1. Wrap a soft measuring tape around your wrist just below the wrist bone.
  2. Read the measurement in inches where the tape overlaps.
  3. That number is your wrist size.

Choosing Your Bracelet Size

Once you have your wrist measurement, add a little extra room for comfort. Crystal beads — especially 8mm and 10mm beads — take up space on the inside of the bracelet, so a small amount of ease is important.

Fit Preference Add to Wrist Size Best For
Snug + 0.25" Those who prefer close contact with the crystal
Standard (recommended) + 0.5" Most people — comfortable all-day wear
Loose / Relaxed + 0.75" to 1.0" Those who prefer a draped, stackable look

Zen Collection Size Guide

All of our crystal bracelets are strung on high-quality durable elastic stretch cord, making them comfortable and easy to put on and take off. Here is how our standard sizes break down:

🤏
Small
6.5"
Petite wrists or older children
Medium
7.0"
Most popular — fits the average adult woman
Large
7.5"
Larger wrists or a loose, draped fit
💪
Extra Large
8.0"
Men or those who prefer a very loose fit

Buying a Gift? Here's What to Do

If you are buying a crystal bracelet as a gift and cannot measure the recipient's wrist, don't worry. We recommend choosing the Medium (7.0") size. Because our bracelets are made with stretch cord, the Medium size comfortably accommodates the vast majority of adult wrists.

  • If the recipient has a particularly petite frame, choose Small (6.5").
  • If they have a larger frame or prefer loose jewelry, choose Large (7.5").
  • For men, Extra Large (8.0") is usually the best starting point.

What if I'm Between Sizes?

Always size up rather than down. A bracelet that is slightly loose is far more comfortable and less prone to snapping than one that is too tight. If your measurement falls between sizes — for example, 6.75" — choose the Medium (7.0").
