To use your Cedar and White Sage Stick, hold one end and carefully light the other tip using a candle flame or lighter. Allow the flame to catch for a few seconds, then gently blow it out so the bundle begins to smolder and release its aromatic smoke. Hold the stick over a heat-safe dish, abalone shell, or incense burner at all times to catch any falling ash, and keep a window or door open to allow fresh air to circulate and carry the released energy out of the space. Never leave a burning bundle unattended, and keep it well away from children, pets, and any flammable materials.
To reset the energy in a room, walk slowly through your space holding the bundle, moving it in gentle sweeping motions along walls, corners, and doorways — these areas tend to hold heavier or stagnant energy. For personal energy work, pass the bundle around your body from feet to head, focusing on areas where you feel tension or heaviness. When you are finished, press the lit end firmly into a heat-safe surface or sand-filled dish to extinguish it fully. Allow the bundle to cool completely before setting it down or storing it.
