To use your Yerba Santa Bundle, hold it at a slight downward angle and light the tip using a match or lighter. Allow the flame to catch for several seconds, then gently blow it out so the bundle smolders and begins releasing its warm, earthy smoke. Hold it over a heat-safe dish or abalone shell at all times to catch any falling ash, and burn in a well-ventilated room to keep the air comfortable. Never leave a burning bundle unattended, and keep it well out of reach of children and pets. Once you are finished, press the lit tip firmly into a fireproof dish or a bed of sand to extinguish it completely, and confirm it is no longer smoldering before storing it away.
