This ritual is best performed at the start of a new week, a new moon, or any moment when you are ready to commit to a fresh chapter of growth and confidence. Take your time with each step and allow the experience to feel ceremonial rather than rushed.
- Choose a quiet space where you will not be interrupted. Clear your altar or workspace by tidying the surface and, if you wish, opening a window briefly to allow stagnant energy to move out.
- Place your candle holders in a row or a gentle arc in front of you. Arrange the candles in the following order from left to right: white, yellow, orange, gold, red. This moves from clarity and purification through to grounded, fiery action.
- Sit comfortably, close your eyes, and take three slow, deep breaths. With each exhale, consciously release doubt, hesitation, and the stories that have told you that you are not ready.
- Light the white candle first and say aloud or in your heart: I release all that dims my light. I am clear, I am open, I am ready.
- Light the yellow candle and say: My mind is sharp and focused. I trust my instincts and I trust my path.
- Light the orange candle and say: I am energised, inspired, and willing to take bold and joyful action toward my goals.
- Light the gold candle and say: I am worthy of success. Abundance flows to me naturally and I receive it with gratitude.
- Light the red candle last and say: I am determined. I am powerful. I follow through with strength and conviction.
- Sit with the candles burning for as long as feels right. You may meditate, journal your goals, or simply rest in the energy of the intention you have set.
- When you are ready to close the ritual, take one final deep breath and say: So it is. You may allow the candles to burn down fully in a safe setting, or extinguish them gently with a snuffer and relight them during future sessions to continue building on this intention.
