Safety: Burn sage only in a well-ventilated area on a heat-safe surface. Never leave it unattended, and keep it away from children, pets, and flammable materials. Extinguish fully after use.

Begin by opening a window or door so there is a clear path for fresh air. Place your abalone shell on a stable, heat-safe surface. Light the tip of the white sage stick, allow a small flame to catch, then gently blow it out so it smoulders. Never leave the sage unattended.
Move slowly through your space, allowing the smoke to reach doorways, corners, and the areas that feel most in need of a reset. Use the turkey feather to gently guide the smoke; keep the feather well away from the flame and hot ash.
As you cleanse, keep your intention simple and personal. You might focus on releasing the day, creating calm before rest, or welcoming a clearer feeling into your home. When you are finished, fully extinguish the sage in a heat-safe dish or suitable fire-safe material and allow everything to cool before putting it away.
