Gently blow out the flame and watch for a glowing ember at the tip — this tells you the stick is burning correctly. Rest the coated end in a proper incense holder or burner designed to catch falling ash, and place it on a stable, heat-safe surface where the fragrant smoke can drift softly through your space.
