Hold a flame to the tip of the stick for about 30 seconds until the tip glows, then gently blow out the flame — a soft, steady ribbon of smoke will begin to rise. Allow the warm, resinous floral fragrance to slowly fill your space, breathing naturally and letting the aroma settle around you. There is no need to rush; the ritual begins the moment the smoke unfurls.
Safety is an important part of any mindful practice. Always burn incense in a well-ventilated room to allow fresh air to circulate alongside the aromatic smoke. Use only a proper incense holder designed to catch ash safely, and place it away from curtains, paper, candles, or any other flammable materials. Never leave burning incense unattended, and keep it out of reach of children and pets at all times. Extinguish the stick fully by pressing the lit tip gently against a fireproof surface if you need to end your session early.
