Scent intensity and character may also vary slightly between batches due to the handcrafted nature of these incense products. If you have ordered multiple scents, we recommend storing and airing each box in a separate area, as aromas can mingle during shipping.
To use your Satya Palo Santo incense stick, hold the tip at a gentle angle over a flame — a lighter or match works beautifully — and allow it to catch for about 10 to 15 seconds. Once a small flame forms, softly blow it out so the tip begins to glow and release its warm, sacred smoke. Rest the stick securely in an appropriate incense holder to catch any falling ash, and allow the rich, citrusy wood fragrance to fill your space for the duration of your practice.
As with all burning incense, please practise mindful safety. Always burn in a well-ventilated room to allow fresh air to circulate alongside the smoke. Use a proper incense holder designed to support the stick and contain ash safely. Never leave burning incense unattended, and ensure it is fully extinguished before leaving the room. Keep lit incense away from children, pets, curtains, paper, and any other flammable materials. Place your holder on a stable, heat-resistant surface well away from the edges of shelves or altars.
