This ritual guide is designed to walk you through a complete chakra balancing practice using all seven candles. You may work through the full set in one sitting or focus on a single candle at a time when one particular energy centre calls for attention.

1. Prepare your space. Choose a quiet area where you will not be disturbed. Clear the surface of clutter and place your candles in a row from red to violet, either in individual holders or a long chime candle holder. Dim the lights if possible. You may wish to play soft music, ring a bell, or simply sit in silence for a few moments before you begin.
2. Ground yourself. Sit comfortably with your feet flat on the floor or legs crossed. Take three slow, deep breaths. With each exhale, release any tension you are carrying. Set a quiet intention to be present with your whole self during this practice.
3. Light the red candle first — the Root Chakra. As you light it, speak aloud or in your heart: "I am safe. I am grounded. I belong here." Sit with this flame for a moment before moving on.
4. Light the orange candle — the Sacral Chakra. Affirm: "I allow myself to feel. My creativity and joy flow freely."
5. Light the yellow candle — the Solar Plexus Chakra. Affirm: "I trust myself. I stand in my power with confidence and ease."
6. Light the green candle — the Heart Chakra. Affirm: "I give and receive love openly. My heart is healing and whole."
7. Light the light blue candle — the Throat Chakra. Affirm: "I speak my truth with clarity and kindness. My voice matters."
8. Light the indigo candle — the Third Eye Chakra. Affirm: "I trust my intuition. I see clearly beyond what is visible."
9. Light the violet candle — the Crown Chakra. Affirm: "I am connected to something greater than myself. I am open to divine guidance and wisdom."
10. Sit with the full set of candles burning. Rest your hands in your lap, close your eyes, and breathe. Visualise a column of warm light moving upward through your body, from the base of your spine to the top of your head, growing brighter with each breath. Remain here for as long as feels right.
11. Close the ritual. When you are ready, take one final deep breath and offer a simple word of gratitude — for your body, your energy, and your willingness to tend to yourself. You may allow the candles to burn down fully in a safe setting, or extinguish them gently with a candle snuffer to preserve the intention for your next session.
