Scent Note: Scent is a deeply personal experience — what smells bold and earthy to one person may feel light and sweet to another. Every nose is different, and that is completely normal. Scent intensity and character may also vary slightly between batches due to the handcrafted nature of these incense products. If you have ordered multiple scents, we recommend storing and airing each box in a separate area, as aromas can mingle during shipping.
To use Hem Stress Relief Incense sticks, simply hold the coated tip of the stick to a flame until it catches, then gently blow out the flame and allow the tip to glow and release its fragrant smoke. Rest the uncoated end securely in a proper incense holder — a wooden ash catcher, ceramic holder, or sand-filled dish all work beautifully — and allow the smoke to flow freely through your space. One stick is all you need to fill a room with a calming, grounding energy that invites you to slow down and breathe.
Burning incense safely is an important part of the practice. Always burn in a well-ventilated area to allow fresh air to circulate alongside the smoke. Place your holder on a heat-safe, stable surface away from curtains, paper, candles, or any other flammable materials. Never leave burning incense unattended, and always keep it out of reach of children and pets. Once you are finished, ensure the stick has fully extinguished before leaving the room.
When working with Hem Stress Relief Incense in a ritual or spiritual context, consider taking a moment before lighting it to set a clear intention — perhaps releasing tension from the day, creating a peaceful boundary around your space, or preparing your mind for meditation. Light your stick, close your eyes, and take three slow, deep breaths as the smoke rises, visualizing stress and heavy energy dissolving with each exhale. This incense pairs beautifully with journaling, breathwork, gentle yoga, or simply sitting quietly and allowing yourself to arrive fully in the present moment.
