To use your Scented Sage Stick with Sandalwood, begin by placing a heat-safe dish, ceramic plate, or abalone shell beneath your hand to catch any falling ash. Hold the tip of the sage stick at a slight angle and light it with a candle or lighter, allowing it to catch for a few seconds before gently blowing out the flame. You should see a steady, slow-burning ember producing a continuous stream of fragrant smoke. If the stick goes out during use, simply relight it as needed. When you are finished, press the lit end firmly into sand or soil inside your heat-safe dish to extinguish it completely — never leave a burning sage stick unattended, and always confirm it is fully out before walking away.
