To use your Green Mullein Energy Cleansing Stick, begin by placing a heat-safe dish or abalone shell on a stable, flat surface away from curtains, paper, or anything flammable. Light the tip of the bundle and allow it to catch a small flame before gently blowing it out, letting the bundle smolder and release its smoke. Hold the stick over your heat-safe dish at all times to catch any falling ash, and always burn in a well-ventilated room — open a window to allow stagnant energy to move out along with the smoke. Never leave a lit or smoldering bundle unattended, and keep it well out of reach of children and pets throughout your practice.
Before you begin, take a moment to set a clear intention for what you want to shift or release. This could be tension from a difficult week, lingering emotional heaviness, or simply the desire to reset the space after a busy day. Once your bundle is smoldering, move slowly through the room, allowing the smoke to drift into corners, doorways, and areas where energy tends to feel heavy. You can also hold it near your body — around your hands, over your heart, or along your shoulders — to help release emotional residue you may be carrying. When you are finished, gently press the tip into a fireproof dish to extinguish it fully, and allow it to cool completely before setting it down or storing it away.
