Imitation Eagle Feather
If you've been waving your sage around and not really feeling like the smoke is going where it needs to, it can make the whole ritual feel a bit aimless and less effective. That lack of control is frustrating when you're trying to be intentional about your practice. Using a feather to guide the smoke gives you something physical to work with, so you can direct energy around your body or through a space with actual purpose instead of just hoping for the best.
