Wild Rose and White Sage Smudge Stick

Type: Herbal Smudge Bundle / White Sage and Floral Bundle

Size / Weight: Sizes vary naturally; each bundle is approximately 4–5 inches in length. Exact dimensions will differ slightly from piece to piece.

Origin: White sage is typically sourced from California, USA. Wild rose may be sourced from North America or Europe depending on the harvest season.

Scent Profile: A soft, earthy combination of classic white sage — clean, herbaceous, and purifying — with the gentle, sweet floral notes of wild rose. Together they create a grounding yet uplifting aromatic experience.

Burn Time: Burn time varies depending on bundle size and usage; typically 20–40 minutes of intermittent use per bundle when used in short cleansing sessions.

Contents: Dried white sage (Salvia apiana) and dried wild rose petals and/or rosebuds, hand-bound together with natural cotton twine.

Natural Variation: As a natural product, each piece will vary slightly in size, shape, weight, and colour. This is part of its beauty and authenticity — no two are exactly alike.

Safety Warning: Always burn in a well-ventilated area. Use a heat-safe dish or proper holder. Never leave burning products unattended. Keep away from children, pets, and all flammable materials. Extinguish fully after use.

To use your Wild Rose and White Sage Smudge Stick, begin by opening a window or door to allow fresh air to circulate — this is important both for safety and to give the energy you are releasing somewhere to go. Hold one end of the bundle and use a match or lighter to ignite the tip, allowing it to catch a small flame before gently blowing it out so it smolders and produces a steady stream of smoke. Rest the burning bundle in a heat-safe dish, abalone shell, or ceramic bowl filled with sand or salt to catch any falling ash. Never leave a lit bundle unattended, keep it well away from children, pets, and any flammable materials, and always make sure the bundle is fully extinguished after use by pressing the lit end firmly into your heat-safe dish.

To work with the smudge stick for energy clearing, move slowly through your space holding the smoldering bundle, guiding the smoke into corners, doorways, and along the walls where stagnant or heavy energy tends to settle. You can use your hand or a feather to gently direct the smoke as you move through each room. Starting at the front door and working in a deliberate path through your home is a simple and effective approach. When you are finished, return to your starting point and allow the bundle to rest and extinguish safely in your dish.

Before you begin, take a moment to set a clear intention for what you would like to shift, reset, or invite into your space. This could be as simple as silently stating what you want to release and what you want to welcome in its place. The wild rose element of this bundle brings a soft, heart-centered energy that pairs beautifully with the purifying quality of white sage, making it a lovely choice for refreshing a space after conflict, emotional heaviness, or times of transition. You can also pass the smoke around your own body, or use the smudge stick during meditation to help ground your focus and create a clear, intentional atmosphere for your practice.
