Scent Note: Scent is a deeply personal experience — what smells bold and earthy to one person may feel light and sweet to another. Every nose is different, and that is completely normal. Scent intensity and character may also vary slightly between batches due to the handcrafted nature of these incense products. If you have ordered multiple scents, we recommend storing and airing each box in a separate area, as aromas can mingle during shipping.
To use your Hem Green Tea Incense Cones, begin by placing one cone upright in a heat-safe incense holder designed specifically for cones, ensuring it is set on a stable, non-flammable surface. Light the very tip of the cone with a match or lighter and allow it to catch a small flame for approximately 10 to 15 seconds until the tip glows a steady orange. Gently blow out the flame and watch as the cone begins to smolder, releasing its soft, refreshing curl of green tea-scented smoke. The cone will naturally burn down over the course of 20 to 25 minutes, gradually filling your space with its light, herbal fragrance.
Safety is an important part of any mindful ritual. Always burn incense in a well-ventilated room to allow fresh air to circulate and prevent smoke from becoming too concentrated. Use only a proper cone incense holder that can safely catch the ash as the cone burns down, and place it away from curtains, paper, fabrics, and any other flammable materials. Never leave burning incense unattended, and ensure it is fully extinguished before leaving the room. Keep incense, holders, and ash out of reach of children and pets at all times.
Before lighting your cone, take a quiet moment to set a clear and heartfelt intention for your session. Whether you are seeking mental clarity, emotional balance, or a renewed sense of calm, allow the fresh green tea fragrance to serve as a gentle anchor for your focus. This scent pairs beautifully with morning meditation, mindfulness journaling, or simply creating a peaceful atmosphere in your home or sacred space. Breathe slowly and deeply as the aroma fills the room, letting it guide you inward and invite a sense of clarity, presence, and gentle renewal into your practice.
