Apprentice Tarot Deck
78 Cards for Beginners featuring Universal Waite® with Tarot Meanings & Keywords for Easy Learning, Colorful Visual Cues for Divination, Includes 36-Page Instruction Booklet
Unlock the mysteries of the tarot with the Apprentice Tarot Deck, specially designed for beginners, those starting their tarot journey, and readers who desire further practice. Inspired by the timeless and beloved Universal Waite Tarot, this practical deck offers a perfect balance of traditional imagery and modern insights, making it ideal for novice readers.
Beginners often start learning tarot by memorizing keywords. However, relying on memorization can limit readers’ understanding of a card, and hinders connection with the imagery. With the Apprentice Tarot Deck, keywords are printed right on the cards, making it easier for the apprentice to focus on the meaning in the visual clues. Includes a 36-page booklet with detailed instructions.
Key Features:
- Designed for Beginners: With easy-to-read cards and intuitive imagery, the Apprentice Tarot Deck simplifies the process of learning tarot for beginners, providing a clear path to understanding the symbolism and meanings of the cards.
- Classic Universal Waite Inspiration: Each card centers on the classic, trusted imagery of the Universal Waite Tarot Deck, ensuring familiarity for those who already appreciate the traditional tarot aesthetic.
- Keywords Printed on Each Card: Every card includes keywords for both upright and reversed meanings, allowing for a deeper understanding of each card's energy and influence, whether you're performing a single card pull or a multi-card spread. The Minor Arcana features bonus keywords on the left and right sides, teaching you the core meanings for each suit and court card. Ace through ten of the Minor Arcana feature numerological meanings.
- Clear Instructions: This deck includes an easy-to-follow instruction booklet to guide you through your readings, whether you're a complete beginner or brushing up on your tarot skills. It introduces you to the Major Arcana, the four Minor Arcana suits, and the Court cards. The expertly written booklet covers card meanings, spreads, and tips for enhancing your practice.
- Durable, High-Quality Card Stock: Comfortable to shuffle and built to last, this deck holds up to frequent readings while maintaining its sturdy feel and smooth handling.
Apprentice Tarot offers an engaging and enjoyable introduction to tarot that encourages beginners to connect with the tarot cards directly. Whether you're seeking personal insights, guidance, or want to explore the fascinating world of tarot, the Apprentice Tarot Deck is the perfect companion for your spiritual journey.

Shipping: Some products require additional processing time because they may be handmade or individually prepared, sourced through one of our suppliers or distributors, or otherwise require additional preparation before dispatch.
This can include, but is not limited to, tarot and oracle decks, books, select singing bowls and other sound-healing instruments, handmade bracelets and malas, and other supplier-sourced or individually prepared products.
Supplier-sourced products may be fulfilled from Zen Collection's available inventory or sourced through one of our suppliers or distributors after your order is placed. When a supplier-sourced item is not physically on hand, please allow approximately 3–15 business days before dispatch, excluding weekends and holidays. This is an estimate only and is not a guaranteed dispatch or delivery timeframe.
Handmade bracelets, malas, and other handmade or individually prepared products may also require additional processing time for making, assembling, sizing, restringing, finishing, or other preparation before they are ready to dispatch.
Website availability or an “In Stock” status may include inventory available through our supplier or distributor network and does not necessarily mean the item is physically on hand at our Barrie store or ready for immediate dispatch.
Supplier inventory and lead times can change without notice. Products may occasionally become temporarily unavailable, backordered, allocated, delayed, discontinued, reprinted, revised, repackaged, or otherwise affected by supplier-side changes.
During holidays, promotional periods, high-volume sales events, supplier delays, or other periods of increased demand, sourcing, handmade preparation, order processing, and dispatch may take longer than the usual estimates.
Carrier transit time is additional and begins only after your order has been dispatched. Carrier delivery estimates are also not guaranteed by Zen Collection.
If your purchase is a gift, needed for a specific date, or otherwise time-sensitive, please contact Zen Collection before placing your order. We strongly recommend ordering well in advance rather than waiting until the last minute.
Zen Collection cannot guarantee arrival by a specific date and does not accept rush-order requests or guarantee priority sourcing, making, preparation, or processing.
