Scent Note: Scent is a deeply personal experience — what smells bold and earthy to one person may feel light and sweet to another. Every nose is different, and that is completely normal. Scent intensity and character may also vary slightly between batches due to the handcrafted nature of these incense products. If you have ordered multiple scents, we recommend storing and airing each box in a separate area, as aromas can mingle during shipping.
To use your HEM Good Fortune Incense, begin by placing an incense stick securely in a heat-resistant holder or burner set on a stable, flat surface. Hold the tip of the stick to a flame and allow it to catch for 10 to 15 seconds, then gently blow out the flame so the tip glows softly and begins to smolder. A thin, steady ribbon of smoke will rise, slowly filling your space with its warm, resinous, and lightly citrus-tinged aroma. Allow the stick to burn at its own pace, knowing each curl of smoke is quietly weaving an atmosphere of openness and possibility around you.
Safety is an important part of any mindful ritual. Always burn incense in a well-ventilated room to keep the air fresh and comfortable. Use only a proper incense holder designed to catch ash securely, and place it away from curtains, paper, fabrics, or any other flammable materials. Never leave burning incense unattended, and always ensure it is fully extinguished before leaving the room or going to sleep. Keep lit incense out of reach of children and pets, and check that ash has cooled completely before handling or disposing of it.
When working with Good Fortune Incense as part of your spiritual practice, consider creating a simple ritual around your intention. Before lighting the stick, take a few slow breaths and bring your mind to a place of calm clarity. Speak or silently hold your intention — whether that is inviting financial abundance, opening doors to new opportunities, or stepping into greater personal confidence. As the smoke drifts upward, visualize your goals already unfolding, feeling genuine gratitude for what is on its way to you. This incense pairs beautifully with journaling, candle work, crystal grids featuring citrine or pyrite, or quiet meditation focused on your Solar Plexus Chakra. Burn it regularly in your home or workspace to sustain a warm, welcoming energy that feels aligned with growth and good fortune.
