Allow it to catch and then gently blow out the flame so the bundle begins to smolder and release its crisp, aromatic smoke. Hold the bundle over a heat-safe dish or abalone shell to catch any falling ash as you move through your space. Walk slowly from room to room, paying special attention to corners, doorways, and areas that feel heavy or stagnant, allowing the smoke to drift naturally and shift the energy around you. When you are finished, press the lit end firmly into a fireproof dish or a bowl of sand to fully extinguish it — never leave a smoldering bundle unattended, and always confirm it is completely out before leaving the area.
Always use your bundle in a well-ventilated space. Open a window or door to allow the refreshed energy — and any smoke — to flow freely through the area. Keep your bundle away from children, pets, curtains, paper, and anything else that could catch fire.
