To use your Palo Santo with Harmonizing Chakra Herbs stick, hold one end at a 45-degree angle and bring a flame to the opposite tip. Allow it to catch and burn for 20 to 30 seconds, then gently blow out the flame so the stick begins to smolder and release its aromatic smoke. Walk slowly through your space or hold the stick near your body, moving it in gentle motions to allow the smoke to drift through the area or around your energy field. When you are finished, press the lit end firmly against a heat-safe dish or abalone shell to extinguish it fully. Always burn on a fireproof, heat-safe surface, ensure your space is well ventilated, and never leave a burning stick unattended. Keep away from children, pets, and anything flammable.
Before you light your stick, take a moment to set a clear intention for your session. You might focus on a specific chakra you feel needs attention, or hold a broader intention to restore balance and flow across all seven energy centers. As the stick smolders, breathe slowly and visualize each chakra from the root upward becoming bright, open, and aligned. This practice pairs beautifully with seated meditation, breathwork, or gentle yoga, allowing the warm, grounding scent to anchor you in the present moment and support your energy work.
You can also use this stick to shift the energy in a room before journaling, healing sessions, or any intentional practice. Move through each corner of your space, allowing the smoke to refresh the atmosphere and reset the space back to a calm, neutral state. Many people find it helpful to speak their intention aloud as they work, whether that is harmony, clarity, balance, or simply peace. Over time, the ritual of lighting this stick can become a meaningful signal to your mind and body that it is time to slow down and reconnect with yourself.
