Hem Dragon’s Blood Incense
Your space feels off lately — heavy, unsettled, like something just needs to shift. You want to feel grounded again, not scattered, and you need something that actually works. Hem Dragon's Blood has a deep, warm, resinous scent — rich and woody, almost like burning tree sap — and it fills a room with a thick, grounding presence that slows everything down. One stick and the whole vibe changes. Check the tabs below for full details.

Scent Note: Scent is a deeply personal experience — what smells bold and earthy to one person may feel light and sweet to another. Every nose is different, and that is completely normal. Scent intensity and character may also vary slightly between batches due to the handcrafted nature of these incense products. If you have ordered multiple scents, we recommend storing and airing each box in a separate area, as aromas can mingle during shipping.
To use your Hem Dragon's Blood Incense stick, begin by placing it securely in a heat-safe incense holder or censer on a stable, flat surface. Hold the tip of the stick to a flame until it catches and glows orange, then gently blow out the flame so the tip begins to smoulder and release its deep, resinous smoke. The stick will continue to burn on its own from this point, filling your space with the warm, grounding fragrance of dragon's blood resin for approximately 45 to 60 minutes. If you wish to end your session before the stick burns completely, press the lit tip firmly into sand or ash to fully extinguish it.
Burning incense safely is an important part of honouring your practice and protecting your space. Always burn incense in a well-ventilated room to allow fresh air to circulate alongside the rising smoke. Use only a proper, heat-safe holder designed for incense sticks to catch any falling ash, and place it on a surface clear of fabric, paper, or other flammable materials. Never leave burning incense unattended, and always ensure it is fully extinguished before leaving the room. Keep lit incense well out of reach of children and pets at all times.
Dragon's blood has long been called upon as a sacred ally for protection, grounding, and the sealing of intentions. Before lighting your stick, take a moment to breathe deeply and arrive fully in your space. State your intention aloud or hold it quietly in your heart — whether you are calling in protection, anchoring yourself to the present moment, or beginning a focused meditation practice. As the smoke rises, visualize a warm, golden-red light surrounding and shielding your space, clearing away stagnant or heavy energy. This incense pairs beautifully with root chakra work, new moon rituals, or any practice where you wish to feel deeply grounded and energetically protected.
