To use your Waterfall Backflow Incense Burner, begin by placing it on a flat, heat-safe surface away from drafts, open windows, and any flammable materials — a calm, still environment will help the smoke flow beautifully downward as intended. Set your backflow incense cone (sold separately) gently into the top opening of the burner, ensuring it sits securely in place. Light the very tip of the cone and allow it to catch for about 10 to 15 seconds, then softly blow out the flame so the cone begins to smolder. Within moments, you'll see the smoke begin its gentle cascade downward through the carved channels, pooling at the base in that signature waterfall effect that makes this piece such a meditative and magical focal point. Please never leave burning incense unattended, and keep it out of reach of children and pets.
Caring for your ceramic backflow burner is simple and helps preserve its gorgeous glossy black finish for years to come. After each use, allow the burner to cool completely before handling, then gently brush away any ash residue using a soft, dry cloth or a small brush.
