Scent intensity and character may also vary slightly between batches due to the handcrafted nature of these incense products. If you have ordered multiple scents, we recommend storing and airing each box in a separate area, as aromas can mingle during shipping.

To use Hem Vanilla Incense Cones, begin by placing a cone on a heat-resistant incense holder designed specifically for cones — these holders are slightly concave to cradle the base and catch falling ash. Hold a flame to the tip of the cone for a few seconds until it glows and begins to smoke, then gently blow out the flame. The cone will continue to smolder on its own, slowly releasing its warm, sweet fragrance throughout your space. Allow the ash to fall naturally into the holder, and never move a lit cone once it has been placed.
Burn your incense in a well-ventilated area to allow fresh air to circulate while keeping the aromatic smoke present in your space. Always use a proper, stable holder placed on a heat-safe surface away from curtains, paper, fabrics, or anything flammable. Never leave burning incense unattended, and ensure it is fully extinguished before leaving the room or going to sleep. Keep lit incense out of reach of children and pets, as both the ember and the ash can cause burns or harm if touched.

Returns: Most unused items in their original packaging can be returned within 14 days of delivery, or of purchase in our Barrie store. Return shipping is paid by the customer.
