Nag Champa Backflow Dhoop Cones
If you're burning backflow cones without a proper burner, you're missing the whole point — the smoke just drifts up like any regular cone and there's nothing to look at. The cascading effect is what makes these special, and you need the right burner to actually see it work. These Satya Nag Champa cones have that classic sweet, woody scent that's hard to beat, and each one burns for about 20 to 25 minutes — you get 40 in a box. Check the tabs below for full details on scent, specs, and how to use them.

Scent Note: Scent is a deeply personal experience — what smells bold and earthy to one person may feel light and sweet to another. Every nose is different, and that is completely normal. Scent intensity and character may also vary slightly between batches due to the handcrafted nature of these incense products. If you have ordered multiple scents, we recommend storing and airing each box in a separate area, as aromas can mingle during shipping.
To use your Nag Champa backflow dhoop cones, begin by placing a cone securely into the hollow opening at the top of your backflow burner, ensuring it sits firmly in place. Using a match or lighter, carefully ignite the very tip of the cone until it catches and glows with a small ember. Gently blow out the flame and allow the cone to settle into a steady, smoldering burn. Within moments, you will notice the aromatic smoke beginning its signature cascade, flowing downward in a hypnotic, waterfall-like stream. This mesmerizing effect is unique to backflow cones and is best appreciated in a still, calm environment where air currents are minimal.
Safety is an important part of any mindful burning practice. Always burn your incense cones in a well-ventilated space to allow fresh air to circulate comfortably. Use only a proper backflow burner designed to hold the cone securely and catch any ash. Never leave burning incense unattended, and always ensure the cone is fully extinguished before leaving the room. Keep your burner well out of reach of children and pets, and place it away from curtains, fabrics, paper, and any other flammable materials. Set your burner on a stable, heat-resistant surface to prevent accidental tipping.
Nag Champa has been cherished for generations as a companion to sacred ritual and inner reflection. Before lighting your cone, take a quiet moment to set a clear intention — whether that is cultivating peace, deepening your meditation, opening your intuition, or simply creating a sanctuary of calm within your space. As the smoke begins to flow, use it as a focal point for breathwork or seated meditation, allowing the sweet, woody fragrance to gently anchor your awareness in the present moment. This incense pairs beautifully with journaling, yoga practice, prayer, or any ritual where you wish to invite a sense of spiritual elevation and heartfelt presence into your surroundings.
