Scent Note: Scent is a deeply personal experience — what smells bold and earthy to one person may feel light and sweet to another. Every nose is different, and that is completely normal. Scent intensity and character may also vary slightly between batches due to the handcrafted nature of these incense products. If you have ordered multiple scents, we recommend storing and airing each box in a separate area, as aromas can mingle during shipping.
To use your Satya White Sage Dhoop Cones, begin by placing a single cone upright in a heat-safe incense holder designed for cones, setting it on a stable, non-flammable surface. Light the very tip of the cone with a match or lighter and allow the flame to burn for about 10 to 15 seconds until a small, glowing ember forms. Gently blow out the flame and watch as the cone begins to smolder, releasing its rich, herbaceous white sage smoke in a slow, steady stream. Dhoop cones burn without a bamboo core, which means the smoke they produce is pure and beautifully fragrant from start to finish — a truly immersive experience for your senses and your space.
Burning incense safely is an important part of honouring your practice. Always burn your cones in a well-ventilated room to allow fresh air to circulate and prevent smoke from becoming too concentrated. Use only a proper, heat-safe cone holder to catch ash and protect your surfaces. Never leave a burning cone unattended, and always ensure it is fully extinguished before leaving the room or going to sleep. Keep lit incense well out of reach of children and pets, and place it away from curtains, paper, fabrics, and any other flammable materials. A little mindfulness around fire safety keeps your ritual space peaceful and protected.
White sage carries a long and sacred history of spiritual purification, and these cones are a beautiful way to weave that energy into your daily rituals. Before lighting your cone, take a quiet moment to set a clear intention — whether that is releasing stagnant energy from your home, opening your heart before meditation, or calling in clarity and protection. Once the smoke begins to flow, you can gently guide it through each room of your space, into corners, and around doorways to invite fresh, positive energy. Use this time to breathe slowly, reconnect with your inner stillness, and allow the grounding, earthy scent of white sage to anchor you fully in the present moment. Whether you are preparing for chakra work, deepening a meditation session, or simply creating a sacred atmosphere at the close of a long day, these cones offer a gentle and powerful companion for your spiritual journey.
