Shuffling the Deck: The hexagon shape of these cards makes them slightly different to handle than a standard rectangular deck. An overhand shuffle — passing small groups of cards from one hand to the other — works well and is gentle on the card edges. You can also cut the deck into two or three piles and reassemble them in a different order. Shuffle for as long as feels right, keeping your question or intention in mind as you do.
Single-Card Daily Draw: This is the simplest way to work with the deck. Each morning, shuffle the cards, draw one, and spend a few minutes looking at the image, color, and any symbols present. Consult the 224-page guidebook to read about the card's meaning, then consider how it might apply to your day or current situation.
Three-Card Spread: Shuffle the deck and draw three cards, placing them left to right. The first card represents the past or what has led to your current situation. The second card represents the present moment or the core of what you are facing. The third card represents a possible path forward. Use the guidebook to look up each card, then consider how the three cards relate to each other, paying attention to how the hexagon edges and images may visually connect.
Journaling Tip: Keep a dedicated notebook for your readings. After each session, write down which cards you drew, your initial reaction to the images, and any thoughts or connections that came up. Over time, this record will help you track patterns and notice how the cards speak to different areas of your life.
Beginner Tip: You do not need prior knowledge of alchemy, astrology, or symbolism to use this deck.
