To use your Black Ceramic Backflow Burner, begin by placing it on a stable, heat-safe surface that is completely level — this is essential for the smoke to cascade downward in that beautiful flowing effect. Choose a spot away from open windows, fans, air vents, and flammable materials like curtains or paper. Once your burner is positioned, take one backflow cone and insert it into the top opening with the pointed end facing down into the small center hole. Using a lighter or match, carefully light the very tip of the cone and allow it to catch a small flame for a few seconds, then gently blow it out. Within moments, you will see the aromatic smoke begin to drift downward along the surface of the burner. Always stay nearby while your cone is burning, and allow it to finish its full burn cycle of approximately 20 to 30 minutes before leaving the space.
