Scent Note: Scent is a deeply personal experience — what smells bold and earthy to one person may feel light and sweet to another. Every nose is different, and that is completely normal. Scent intensity and character may also vary slightly between batches due to the handcrafted nature of these incense products. If you have ordered multiple scents, we recommend storing and airing each box in a separate area, as aromas can mingle during shipping.
To begin your ritual with HEM Cinnamon Incense Cones, place a single cone upright in a heat-safe incense holder or censer, ensuring it rests on a stable, level surface. Using a match or lighter, carefully ignite the tip of the cone until a small flame takes hold, then gently blow it out so the cone settles into a steady, glowing ember. You will notice the rich, spicy-sweet fragrance begin to rise almost immediately, filling your space with warm, grounding energy. Allow the cone to burn naturally for its full 20 to 25 minutes without disturbing it, and never attempt to relight a cone that has gone out by breaking it or moving ash, as this can affect both the burn quality and your ritual flow.
Safety is an essential part of any mindful practice. Always burn incense in a well-ventilated room to allow fresh air to circulate alongside the aromatic smoke. Use only a proper, heat-resistant holder designed for incense cones, as the base of a burning cone can become extremely hot and may cause damage to surfaces. Never leave burning incense unattended, and always ensure the cone is fully extinguished before leaving the room. Keep lit incense well out of reach of children and pets, and make certain it is placed far away from curtains, paper, fabric, and any other flammable materials.
Cinnamon carries a powerful spiritual energy long associated with manifestation, abundance, and personal empowerment, making these cones a beautiful addition to intentional ritual work. Before lighting your cone, take a quiet moment to ground yourself with a few slow, deep breaths and hold a clear intention in your mind — whether you are calling in financial abundance, igniting your motivation, or strengthening your inner resolve. As the smoke rises, visualize your goals taking form and trust that the energy you are cultivating is being released into the universe. These cones also pair beautifully with sacral chakra meditations, journaling practices, and new moon abundance rituals, inviting you to sit in stillness and align your energy with the prosperous, purposeful life you are creating.
