Scent Note: Scent is a deeply personal experience — what smells bold and earthy to one person may feel light and sweet to another. Every nose is different, and that is completely normal. Scent intensity and character may also vary slightly between batches due to the handcrafted nature of these incense products. If you have ordered multiple scents, we recommend storing and airing each box in a separate area, as aromas can mingle during shipping.
To use your Hem Good Fortune Incense Cones, begin by placing a cone upright in a heat-safe incense holder or cone burner on a stable, flat surface. Using a lighter or match, carefully ignite the very tip of the cone and allow it to catch flame for approximately 10 to 15 seconds until a steady, glowing ember forms. Gently blow out the flame and watch as a soft curl of fragrant smoke begins to rise. The cone will continue to smolder on its own, releasing its warm, spicy, and woody aroma for approximately 20 to 25 minutes. For best results, choose a spot where air can circulate gently around the cone, as a light airflow helps the smoke carry beautifully through your space without the cone extinguishing prematurely.
Safety is an important part of any mindful burning practice. Always burn incense in a well-ventilated room to allow fresh air to circulate freely. Use only a proper heat-safe holder designed for incense cones, ensuring it can fully catch any ash that falls as the cone burns down. Never leave burning incense unattended, and always extinguish it fully before leaving the room or going to sleep. Keep your incense well out of reach of children and pets, and ensure it is placed far away from curtains, paper, fabrics, or any other flammable materials. A little awareness goes a long way in keeping your ritual space safe and sacred.
When working with Good Fortune incense in your spiritual practice, consider setting a clear and heartfelt intention before you light the cone. Take a few slow, grounding breaths and bring to mind a specific goal, whether it relates to financial growth, career success, or stepping into a greater sense of personal abundance. As the smoke rises, visualize prosperity flowing naturally and freely into your life, and feel genuine gratitude for the opportunities already on their way to you. This incense pairs beautifully with Solar Plexus Chakra work, abundance affirmations, journaling your financial goals, or simply sitting in quiet meditation while you welcome a mindset of wealth and possibility. Allow the ritual to feel personal, intentional, and deeply your own.
