Fire Safety: Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from children, pets, and flammable materials. Always burn on a heat-safe, fireproof surface. Keep wicks trimmed to 1/4 inch before each use. Do not burn for more than 2 hours at a time. Extinguish completely before leaving the room.

Working with a chime candle is a simple and meaningful practice that requires very little — only a clear intention, a safe space, and a few quiet moments. Here is a gentle ritual to help you get started.
- Prepare your space. Choose a calm, quiet area where you will not be disturbed. Place your candle in a secure chime candle holder on a heat-safe, fireproof surface. Clear the area of any clutter and, if you like, dim the lights to help you settle into a more reflective state.
- Set your intention. Before lighting the candle, hold it in your hands for a moment. Breathe slowly and bring to mind what you are calling in — healing, growth, a new beginning, or an open heart. Speak your intention aloud or silently, feeling it as though it is already taking shape.
- Write it down. On a small piece of paper, write your intention in clear, present-tense language. Fold the paper and place it beneath the candle holder or beside it. If you have crystals such as green aventurine, rose quartz, or moss agate, arrange them nearby to amplify the energy of your working.
- Light the candle. As you light the wick, visualize your intention beginning to stir and grow, just as a seed stirs beneath the soil. You may sit in meditation, journal, or simply rest in the stillness while the candle burns. Never leave the candle unattended — remain present with your practice for the duration of the burn.
- Close your ritual. When the candle has burned out naturally, take a moment to offer gratitude — to yourself, to the process, or to whatever spiritual practice guides you. Keep the written intention somewhere meaningful, or release it by burying it in the earth as a symbolic act of planting your wish.
- Tend to safety. Ensure the flame is fully extinguished before leaving the space. Dispose of any remaining wax safely and clean your holder before the next use.
