Fire Safety: Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from children, pets, and flammable materials. Always burn on a heat-safe, fireproof surface. Keep wicks trimmed to 1/4 inch before each use. Do not burn for more than 2 hours at a time. Extinguish completely before leaving the room.

Working with a chime candle is a simple and meaningful practice. You do not need elaborate tools or extensive experience — only a clear intention, a quiet moment, and a safe space to let the flame do its work.
- Prepare your space. Choose a calm, quiet area where you will not be interrupted. Place your candle in a secure, fireproof holder on a stable, heat-safe surface. Clear the space of clutter and, if you like, dim the lights to help shift your focus inward.
- Set your intention. Before lighting the candle, hold it gently in both hands and bring to mind the relationship or love you wish to nurture, heal, or call in. Speak your intention aloud or silently — be specific and heartfelt. You might say something like, "I invite deeper love, understanding, and connection into my relationship."
- Write it down. On a small piece of paper, write your intention in a few words or a full sentence. Fold the paper toward you (to draw energy in) and place it beneath the candle holder or nearby on your altar space.
- Add supporting tools if you wish. Place rose quartz, rhodonite, or any heart-centred crystal near the candle to amplify the energy of your intention. A few dried rose petals or a piece of jewellery that holds meaning can also be incorporated.
- Light the candle. As you strike the match or lighter, take a slow breath and release any tension. Watch the flame settle and allow yourself a few minutes of quiet reflection, prayer, or meditation focused on your intention.
- Let it burn safely. Stay present while the candle is lit and never leave it unattended. The candle will burn for approximately 2 hours — you may choose to sit with it for its full burn or extinguish it mindfully and relight it in a future session.
- When the candle is finished. Once the candle has burned out completely, take a moment to express gratitude — for the love already in your life and for what is on its way. You may keep the written intention on your altar, bury it in the earth, or release it by burning it safely in a fireproof dish as a final offering.
