Scent Note: Scent is a deeply personal experience — what smells bold and earthy to one person may feel light and sweet to another. Every nose is different, and that is completely normal. Scent intensity and character may also vary slightly between batches due to the handcrafted nature of these incense products. If you have ordered multiple scents, we recommend storing and airing each box in a separate area, as aromas can mingle during shipping.
To use your Native Soul White Sage and Lavender Backflow Cones, begin by placing a cone securely in the hollow chamber of your backflow burner, setting it on a stable, heat-safe surface. Using a lighter or match, gently ignite the very tip of the cone and allow it to catch a small flame for a few seconds before carefully blowing it out. The cone will begin to smolder and release its fragrant smoke, which — thanks to the unique backflow design — will drift beautifully downward in a soft, cascading mist. For best results, keep your burner away from open windows, fans, or air vents, as even gentle drafts can disrupt the mesmerizing downward flow that makes backflow cones so special.
Safety is an important part of any mindful ritual. Always burn your incense cones in a well-ventilated room to allow fresh air to circulate while keeping the smoke from becoming overwhelming. Use only a proper backflow burner or heat-safe holder designed for cone incense, and place it on a surface that is completely clear of flammable materials such as paper, fabric, or dried botanicals. Never leave a burning cone unattended, and ensure it is fully extinguished before leaving the room. Please keep lit incense out of reach of children and pets at all times.
Before lighting your cone, take a quiet moment to ground yourself and set a clear intention for your practice. Whether you are clearing stagnant energy from your home, preparing your space for meditation, or simply seeking a moment of calm after a long day, allow the intertwined scents of white sage and lavender to guide you inward. Breathe slowly and watch the fragrant mist descend as a gentle reminder to release what no longer serves you. This blend beautifully supports crown and third eye chakra work, making it a wonderful companion for journaling, prayer, visualization, or any spiritual practice where clarity and peace are your greatest intentions.
