Scent Note: Scent is a deeply personal experience — what smells bold and earthy to one person may feel light and sweet to another. Every nose is different, and that is completely normal. Scent intensity and character may also vary slightly between batches due to the handcrafted nature of these incense products. If you have ordered multiple scents, we recommend storing and airing each box in a separate area, as aromas can mingle during shipping.
To begin your ritual with Satya Vanilla Incense, hold the stick at its uncoated bamboo end and bring a flame to the tip. Allow it to catch and burn for 10 to 15 seconds until a small, glowing ember forms at the tip. Gently blow out the flame and watch as a gentle thread of fragrant smoke begins to rise. Rest the stick securely in a heat-safe incense holder placed on a stable, non-flammable surface, and allow the warm, creamy vanilla fragrance to slowly fill your space. The stick will smolder naturally for approximately 45 to 60 minutes, releasing its soothing aroma throughout your room.
Burning incense mindfully means keeping safety at the heart of your practice. Always use your incense in a well-ventilated room to allow fresh air to circulate alongside the aromatic smoke. Never leave a burning incense stick unattended, and ensure it is fully extinguished before leaving the room or going to sleep. Keep lit incense out of reach of children and pets, and position your holder well away from curtains, papers, fabrics, or any other flammable materials. Placing your holder on a ceramic dish or tray adds an extra layer of protection for your surfaces and helps catch any falling ash.
Satya Vanilla Incense is a beautiful companion for intentional moments of stillness and self-care. Before lighting your stick, take a slow breath and bring to mind a simple intention — perhaps inviting emotional warmth, nurturing your creativity, or opening your heart to inner peace. As the vanilla smoke rises, allow it to signal to your mind and body that this is sacred time. Use these moments for seated meditation, gentle breathwork, journaling, or simply resting in quiet gratitude. The soft, grounding energy of vanilla resonates beautifully with the Sacral Chakra, making this an ideal ritual tool whenever you feel called to reconnect with your emotions, your creativity, or the comforting stillness that lives within you.
