Satya White Sage Backflow Dhoop Cones
If you've got a backflow burner but nothing to burn in it, it's just sitting there looking decorative. These Satya white sage cones are made specifically for backflow burners — the smoke pulls downward instead of rising, so you actually get that cascading effect your burner was designed for. Each cone burns for about 20 to 25 minutes and smells like real white sage, not a synthetic version of it. Check the tabs below for full details.

Scent Note: Scent is a deeply personal experience — what smells bold and earthy to one person may feel light and sweet to another. Every nose is different, and that is completely normal. Scent intensity and character may also vary slightly between batches due to the handcrafted nature of these incense products. If you have ordered multiple scents, we recommend storing and airing each box in a separate area, as aromas can mingle during shipping.
To use your Satya White Sage Backflow Dhoop Cones, begin by placing one cone into your backflow burner with the pointed end facing upward and the hollow tunnel at the base aligned with the burner's opening — this is what allows the smoke to flow beautifully downward. Using a lighter or match, carefully ignite the very tip of the cone and allow it to catch a small flame for a few seconds. Gently blow out the flame and watch for a glowing ember, which signals the cone is lit and ready. The smoke will soon begin its graceful cascade downward through your burner, filling your space with the pure, grounding scent of white sage.
Burning incense safely is an important part of any mindful practice. Always place your backflow burner on a heat-safe, stable surface away from curtains, paper, fabrics, and any other flammable materials. Burn your cones in a well-ventilated room to keep the air fresh and comfortable, and never leave a lit cone unattended. Please keep your burner out of reach of children and pets, and allow the burner itself to cool completely before handling or storing it. A little mindfulness around fire safety ensures your ritual space remains a sanctuary of peace.
These cones are a beautiful companion for intentional ritual work and daily spiritual practice. Before lighting your cone, take a quiet moment to hold your intention in your heart — whether you are clearing stagnant energy from a room, preparing a sacred altar, opening your meditation session, or simply calling in a sense of calm and clarity. As the smoke drifts downward, visualize any heaviness or negativity dissolving and leaving your space. This is a wonderful practice to return to during new and full moons, at the start of a new season, or anytime your home or spirit is in need of renewal. Trust the process, breathe deeply, and allow the sacred energy of white sage to support your journey.
