You can also hold the bundle near your body, starting at your feet and moving upward, if you are looking to shift your personal energy after a draining or stressful day.
Always burn your bundle in a well-ventilated space — open a window or door to allow the energy and smoke to move freely. Keep the bundle away from children, pets, curtains, paper, and any other flammable materials. Never leave a burning bundle unattended, and when you are finished, press the lit end firmly into a heat-safe dish, sand, or salt to extinguish it completely. Do not use water to put it out, as this can make the bundle difficult to relight for future use. Store it in a cool, dry place between uses.
