To connect with the Conscious Spirit Oracle Deck, hold the cards in your hands for a moment before shuffling. Take a few slow breaths, think of a question or intention, and then shuffle in whatever way feels natural to you. The overhand method (passing small packets of cards from one hand to the other) works well for most people and is gentle on the cards. You can also use a simple cut method, dividing the deck into a few piles and restacking them. Shuffle for as long as feels right, then draw your card or cards when you feel ready.
For a daily single-card draw, pull one card each morning before you start your day. Use it as a point of focus or reflection for the hours ahead. Refer to the guidebook for the card's interpretation and consider how its message applies to what you are currently experiencing.
For a three-card spread, draw three cards and place them left to right. Assign the first card to the past, the second to the present, and the third to the future. This spread is useful when you want a broader look at a situation or decision.
Keep a dedicated journal to record each card you pull, the date, and any thoughts or impressions that come up. Over time, your notes will reveal patterns and help you track how the cards relate to events in your life.
