When shuffling, use whatever method feels most comfortable. The overhand shuffle works well for larger decks — simply transfer small groups of cards from one hand to the other repeatedly until the deck feels ready. You can also use the cut method, dividing the deck into two or three piles and restacking them in a different order. There is no single correct way to shuffle; consistency and focus matter more than technique.
For a daily single-card draw, shuffle the deck while thinking of a question or area of your life you want insight on, then pull one card from anywhere in the deck. Read the card's message and refer to the guidebook for the full activation guidance. This is a simple and effective way to build a regular practice.
For a three-card spread, shuffle the deck and draw three cards, placing them left to right. Assign the first card to the past, the second to the present, and the third to the future or potential outcome. Read each card individually, then consider how the three messages connect to each other.
After each reading, take a few minutes to write down the cards you pulled and your initial impressions in a dedicated journal. Note what stood out to you before reading the guidebook, then add any additional meaning you found there. Over time, this record will help you track patterns and deepen your understanding of the deck.
If you are new to oracle cards, start with the guidebook included with the deck. Use it as a reference point rather than a strict rulebook. As you become more familiar with the cards, you will naturally begin to form your own interpretations based on the imagery and your personal experience.
