Scent Note: Scent is a deeply personal experience — what smells bold and earthy to one person may feel light and sweet to another. Every nose is different, and that is completely normal. Scent intensity and character may also vary slightly between batches due to the handcrafted nature of these incense products. If you have ordered multiple scents, we recommend storing and airing each box in a separate area, as aromas can mingle during shipping.
To use your HEM Fast Luck Incense Sticks, begin by placing the stick securely in a heat-safe incense holder on a stable, non-flammable surface. Hold a flame to the very tip of the stick for several seconds until the end glows and catches, then gently blow out the flame so the tip continues to smolder and release its fragrant smoke. The stick should produce a steady, thin stream of smoke as it burns — if it extinguishes, simply re-light and try again. Allow the warm, resinous aroma to fill your space as you settle into your practice.
Safety is an important part of any mindful ritual. Always burn incense in a well-ventilated room to allow fresh air to circulate and prevent smoke from building up. Never leave a burning incense stick unattended, and ensure it is fully extinguished before leaving the area. Keep incense away from children, pets, curtains, paper, and any other flammable materials. Place your holder on a heat-resistant dish or tray to catch any falling ash, and always position it away from the edges of surfaces where it could be knocked over.
For the most meaningful experience, use your Fast Luck Incense as an anchor for intentional ritual work. Before lighting, hold the stick in both hands and take a few slow, grounding breaths — speak your intention aloud or silently, whether that is calling in financial abundance, romantic fortune, or new opportunities. Light the stick and let the rising smoke carry your intention upward as you sit in quiet meditation, visualizing success and abundance flowing naturally into your life. You may also walk the lit stick through the corners of your space to invite fresh, prosperous energy into your home or workspace. For amplified results, incorporate your incense ritual during new moons, on Thursdays to align with Jupiter's expansive energy, or whenever you are preparing to make an important decision or take a bold new step forward.
