To use your Hem Myrrh Incense stick, hold the uncoated tip at a gentle angle and bring a flame to it, allowing it to catch and burn for 10 to 15 seconds. Once a small ember glows at the tip, softly blow out the flame and let the stick begin to smolder, releasing its deep, resinous smoke. Rest the stick securely in a heat-safe incense holder placed on a stable, non-flammable surface — a ceramic or brass holder works beautifully — and allow the sacred aroma of myrrh to slowly fill your space for its full 45-minute burn.
Burning incense safely is an important part of honoring your practice. Always burn in a well-ventilated room to allow the smoke to circulate freely, and never leave a lit incense stick unattended. Keep your incense away from curtains, paper, fabrics, and any other flammable materials, and ensure it is well out of reach of children and pets. When your ritual is complete, ensure the ember has fully extinguished before leaving the area. Practicing these simple safety habits allows you to focus fully on your spiritual work with peace of mind.

Returns: Most unused items in their original packaging can be returned within 14 days of delivery, or of purchase in our Barrie store. Return shipping is paid by the customer.
