Scent intensity and character may also vary slightly between batches due to the handcrafted nature of these incense products. If you have ordered multiple scents, we recommend storing and airing each box in a separate area, as aromas can mingle during shipping.
To use Hem Oodh Incense sticks, simply hold the coated tip to a flame until it catches, then gently blow out the flame and allow the tip to glow, releasing its rich, earthy smoke. Rest the stick securely in a proper incense holder or burner that can catch the falling ash, and place it on a stable, heat-safe surface. Allow the smoke to fill your space gradually, breathing in the warm, grounding fragrance of agarwood as you settle into your practice.
As with all incense, please burn in a well-ventilated room to keep the air fresh and comfortable. Never leave burning incense unattended, and always keep it out of reach of children and pets. Make sure your incense holder is placed well away from curtains, paper, fabrics, or any other flammable materials, and ensure the ash falls safely into your holder or onto a protected surface.
Before lighting your incense, take a quiet moment to set a clear intention for your session — whether that is deepening your meditation, grounding your energy after a busy day, or creating a sacred atmosphere in your space. Hem Oodh is beautifully suited to root chakra work, so you may wish to sit comfortably, close your eyes, and visualize a warm, stabilizing energy anchoring you to the earth as the agarwood smoke rises around you.
