Scent Note: Scent is a deeply personal experience — what smells bold and earthy to one person may feel light and sweet to another. Every nose is different, and that is completely normal. Scent intensity and character may also vary slightly between batches due to the handcrafted nature of these incense products. If you have ordered multiple scents, we recommend storing and airing each box in a separate area, as aromas can mingle during shipping.
To use your Hem Pagan Magic Incense, begin by placing the stick securely in a heat-resistant incense holder or burner that will catch any falling ash. Hold a flame to the very tip of the stick and allow it to catch for approximately 10 to 15 seconds, then gently blow out the flame so that the tip glows softly and begins to release its fragrant, flowing smoke. Position your holder on a stable, flat surface and allow the smoke to drift freely through your space, carrying its earthy, herbaceous energy into every corner of the room.
Safety is an important part of any mindful practice, so please keep a few things in mind whenever you burn incense. Always burn in a well-ventilated space to allow fresh air to circulate alongside the smoke. Use only a proper, stable incense holder designed to contain ash safely, and place it well away from curtains, fabrics, paper, or any other flammable materials. Never leave burning incense unattended, and always ensure it is fully extinguished before leaving the room. Keep lit incense out of reach of children and pets at all times.
Hem Pagan Magic Incense is a beautiful companion for ritual work, meditation, and intentional space clearing. As you light your stick, take a slow breath and bring your awareness inward, holding a clear intention in your heart before the smoke begins to rise. You might use this incense to open a meditation session, mark the beginning of a ritual, or simply invite a sense of grounded, protective energy into your home at the close of a long day. Walk the smoke gently through each room with purpose, or sit quietly beside it and allow the mystical blend to deepen your connection to the earth-based wisdom you are calling in.
