Origin: Frankincense is traditionally sourced from the Horn of Africa and the Arabian Peninsula (primarily Somalia, Oman, and Ethiopia); Myrrh is traditionally sourced from Northeast Africa and the Middle East (primarily Somalia, Ethiopia, and Yemen).

Scent Profile: Frankincense contributes bright citrusy-pine top notes with a subtle, clarifying incense quality; Myrrh adds warm, balsamic, earthy, and slightly medicinal undertones. Together they produce a clean, sustaining, deeply resinous smoke with ceremonial depth.

Burn Time: Dependent on nugget size and the duration of the charcoal disk used. A single charcoal disk typically burns for 30–60 minutes; resin nuggets can be added continuously throughout.

Ingredients / Contents: Natural Frankincense resin (Boswellia species) and Natural Myrrh resin (Commiphora species) — no synthetic additives, binders, or fillers.

Natural Variation: As a natural product, each piece will vary slightly in size, shape, weight, and colour. This is part of its beauty and authenticity — no two are exactly alike.

Safety Warning: Always burn in a well-ventilated area. Use a heat-safe dish or proper holder. Never leave burning products unattended. Keep away from children, pets, and all flammable materials. Extinguish fully after use.

Resin Burning Note: Resin incense requires a charcoal disk to burn. The charcoal disk and resin burner get extremely hot during use — always handle with care and place on a heat-safe surface.

To burn Natural Frankincense and Myrrh Resin, you will need a charcoal disk, a heatproof censer or burner, and a pair of tongs. Hold the charcoal disk with tongs and light the edge with a lighter or match, allowing it to fully ignite and turn grey before placing it in your censer — this usually takes about 30 to 60 seconds. Once the disk is glowing, use tongs or a small spoon to place one to three small resin nuggets directly onto the surface. The charcoal gets extremely hot, so always set your censer on a heat-safe surface, never handle the disk or censer with bare hands, and keep the burning resin well away from children, pets, and any flammable materials. Burn only in a well-ventilated space, and never leave it unattended while the charcoal is active.

For space clearing, carry the censer slowly through each room, pausing at doorways, corners, and areas that feel heavy or stagnant. Focus on allowing the smoke to move through the space as you work with a clear intention to shift the energy and reset the atmosphere. For meditation, place a few nuggets on the charcoal just before you begin your session and let the steady, grounding aroma support your focus — frankincense naturally encourages mental clarity and spiritual openness, while myrrh helps anchor you throughout longer sits. You can also use this resin blend during breathwork, journaling, or any practice where you want to create a calm, intentional atmosphere before you begin.

For ritual or intention-setting work, burn a small amount of the resin while holding a specific goal or transition in mind. Speak your intention aloud, write it down, or simply hold it in focus as the smoke rises — this helps mark the moment as meaningful and creates a clear starting point for your practice. A few nuggets on the charcoal can also be used before altar work, prayer, or any ceremony where you want to create a reverent, energetically clear environment. If you are new to resin incense, start with just one or two small pieces and adjust the amount as you become comfortable with how the smoke fills your space.

Returns: Most unused items in their original packaging can be returned within 14 days of delivery, or of purchase in our Barrie store. Return shipping is paid by the customer.
