To use your White Sage and Eucalyptus bundle, begin by opening a window or door to allow fresh air to circulate through the space. Place a fireproof dish, ceramic plate, or abalone shell on a stable, heat-safe surface to catch any ash or embers. Hold the tip of the bundle at a slight angle and light it with a match or lighter, allowing it to catch for several seconds before gently blowing out the flame so the herbs begin to smolder. Keep the dish or shell underneath the bundle at all times as you move through your space, and never leave a lit or smoldering bundle unattended. Keep burning herbs away from children, pets, curtains, paper, and anything else that could catch fire. If the bundle stops smoldering, simply relight it as needed, and when you are finished, press the tip firmly into sand or a fireproof dish to extinguish it completely.
Once your bundle is smoldering, move slowly and intentionally through the areas you want to refresh. Direct the smoke into corners, along walls, around doorways, and into any areas of the room that feel heavy or stagnant. You can use your hand or a feather to gently guide the smoke where you want it to go. Pay extra attention to entry points like doors and windows, as well as any spaces where tension or emotional heaviness tends to linger. Work from the back of the space toward the front, finishing near an open door to allow any shifted energy to move out naturally.
To deepen your practice, take a moment before lighting the bundle to set a clear intention for what you want to invite into your space — whether that is calm, mental clarity, emotional relief, or a fresh energetic start. You might hold the unlit bundle in your hands, take a few slow breaths, and silently or aloud state what you are releasing and what you are welcoming in. This bundle works beautifully as part of a regular reset routine, before or after meditation, when transitioning between work and rest, or any time your home or personal energy feels like it needs a refresh.
