Working with a chime candle is a simple and meaningful practice. Whether you are new to candle ritual or returning to a beloved tradition, this guide will help you bring focus and intention to your time with this rose gold candle.
- Prepare your space. Choose a quiet area where you will not be disturbed. Place your candle in a secure, fireproof holder on a stable, heat-safe surface. Clear the space of clutter and, if it feels right, dim the lights or play soft music to help you settle.
- Set your intention. Before lighting the candle, hold it gently between your palms for a moment. Breathe slowly and bring to mind the intention you wish to work with — perhaps self-love, emotional healing, attracting a meaningful connection, or simply honouring your own worth. Let that feeling become clear and present within you.
- Anchor your intention in writing. On a small piece of paper, write your intention in the present tense, as though it is already true. Place this paper beneath your candle holder or beside it. You may also arrange nearby crystals that support your intention — rose quartz, rhodonite, or citrine pair beautifully with rose gold energy.
- Light the candle. As you strike the match or touch the flame, speak your intention aloud or hold it quietly in your heart. Watch the flame settle and allow yourself a few moments of stillness. You do not need to remain at the candle the entire time, but never leave a burning candle unattended — stay in the same room and check on it regularly.
- Close the ritual. When the candle has burned out naturally, take a moment to offer gratitude for the energy you have called in. If any wax remains, you may bury it in the earth, dispose of it with intention, or save it as a token of your working. Keep your written intention somewhere meaningful until you feel the energy has fully arrived.
- A note on safety. Chime candles burn for approximately 2 hours. Always trim the wick to 1/4 inch before lighting, burn only on a fireproof surface, and extinguish the flame completely before leaving the room.

Returns: Most unused items in their original packaging can be returned within 14 days of delivery, or of purchase in our Barrie store. Return shipping is paid by the customer.
