Hold a flame to the tip of the stick for a few seconds until it catches and glows, then gently blow out the flame to allow the tip to smolder and release its sacred smoke. The warm, herbal fragrance will begin to unfurl naturally — there is no need to rush. Each stick offers approximately 30 to 40 minutes of continuous burn, giving you a generous window of time to settle into your practice and let the grounding aroma work with your energy.
Safety is an essential part of any mindful practice. Always burn incense in a well-ventilated room to allow fresh air to circulate alongside the fragrant smoke. Use only a proper, heat-resistant holder designed to catch ash, and place it well away from curtains, papers, fabrics, or any flammable materials. Never leave burning incense unattended, and always keep it out of reach of children and pets. When you are ready to extinguish the stick before it has fully burned, press the glowing tip gently against a fireproof surface or use a small amount of water to ensure it is fully out.
