There are a few ways to shuffle the deck. Overhand shuffling involves moving small sections of cards from one hand to the other in a relaxed, continuous motion. Cutting the deck means dividing it into two or three piles and restacking them in a different order. Choose whichever method feels most comfortable and natural to you. Shuffle for as long as you like until you feel ready to draw.
For a daily single-card draw, shuffle the deck while holding a simple question in mind, such as "What do I need to focus on today?" Draw one card and read the message. This is a straightforward way to build a daily practice and get familiar with the deck over time.
For a three-card spread, shuffle the deck and lay three cards face down in a row. Assign the first card to the past, the second to the present, and the third to the future. Flip each card one at a time and read the messages in sequence to get a broader picture of a situation you are working through.
Keep a journal dedicated to your card pulls. After each draw, write down which card came up, what it says, and what thoughts or feelings it brings up for you. Reviewing your entries over time can reveal useful patterns and insights.
