Place a fire-safe bowl or abalone shell on a heat-safe surface, and hold the tip of the bundle over a flame until it catches. Allow it to burn for a few seconds, then gently blow out the flame so the bundle begins to smolder. Walk slowly through your home or workspace, guiding the smoke into corners, doorways, and areas where the energy feels heavy or stagnant. When you are finished, press the lit end firmly into your fire-safe dish to extinguish it completely. Never leave a burning or smoldering bundle unattended, and keep it well away from curtains, paper, and any other flammable materials. Make sure children and pets are not in the immediate area while the bundle is in use.
