To use your Blue Moon Floral and White Sage stick, begin by finding a calm, comfortable space and opening a window or door to allow fresh air to circulate — good ventilation is important whenever burning any herbal bundle. Hold the tip of the stick over a flame, allowing it to catch and ignite for several seconds, then gently blow out the flame so the bundle begins to smolder and produce smoke. Always hold the bundle over an abalone shell, ceramic dish, or another heat-safe surface throughout your session to catch any falling ash or embers. Never leave a lit bundle unattended, keep it well away from children, pets, curtains, and anything flammable, and make sure it is fully extinguished in sand or a fireproof dish when you are finished.
Once your bundle is smoldering, move slowly and with purpose through the area you wish to refresh or reset. Guide the smoke into corners, along walls, around doorways and windows, and into any areas that feel heavy or stagnant. You can also hold the bundle near your body, gently fanning the smoke around your head, shoulders, and hands to help shift your personal energy before or after a difficult day. A feather or your hand works well for directing the smoke where you want it to go.
For a more intentional ritual experience, take a moment before lighting the bundle to set a clear purpose for your session — whether that is shifting the energy in a new home, creating a focused atmosphere for meditation, or simply giving yourself a mental reset at the end of the week. Holding that intention in mind as you work with the bundle helps anchor the practice and makes it feel meaningful rather than routine.
