To use your Green Sage Stick, hold the tip at a slight angle and light it with a match or lighter, allowing the flame to catch for a few seconds before gently blowing it out so the bundle begins to smolder. Once it's releasing a steady stream of fragrant smoke, slowly walk through your space, allowing the smoke to drift into corners, doorways, and areas where the energy feels heavy or stagnant. You can also hold it near your body, moving it around your aura from feet to head, to help refresh and reset your personal energy field. A feather, fan, or your hand can be used to direct the smoke where you'd like it to go.
Always place your smoldering bundle in a heat-safe dish, abalone shell, or ceramic bowl between uses to catch any falling ash and protect surfaces from heat. Burn in a well-ventilated room by opening a window or door — this allows the smoke to carry stagnant or unwanted energy out of the space rather than simply circulating it. Never leave a burning bundle unattended, and keep it well away from children, pets, curtains, paper, and any other flammable materials. When you're finished, press the tip firmly into sand, soil, or a fireproof surface to fully extinguish it, and confirm there is no remaining ember before storing it away.
