To use your Palo Santo 7 Chakras smudge stick, hold one end at a 45-degree angle and light the tip using a candle flame or lighter, allowing it to catch for about 20–30 seconds before gently blowing out the flame. The stick should produce a steady, fragrant smoke. Walk through your space slowly, allowing the smoke to drift into corners, doorways, and areas where energy feels stagnant, or hold the stick near your body and move it through your energy field from your feet up to the top of your head to work through each chakra point. When you are finished, press the lit end firmly into a fireproof dish or abalone shell filled with sand to extinguish it fully. Always burn on a heat-safe surface and never leave a burning stick unattended. Keep it away from children, pets, curtains, and anything flammable, and make sure the room is well ventilated by opening a window or door.
For a more intentional practice, take a moment before lighting your stick to set a clear purpose for your session. You might focus on one specific chakra that feels out of balance, or work through all seven in sequence from root to crown, pausing at each energy center to breathe deeply and visualize the energy there becoming steady and open.
